Power Forward is a leader in wireless charging technology and has enabled, for the first time, true simultaneous wireless/wireless charging. Power Forward’s patented dual-coil technology has enabled true wireless in/wireless out charging that can receive power from a source wirelessly and simultaneously deliver power to a device wirelessly, such as a mobile phone, tablet, or laptop, thus making charging your device simple and without cords. Another benefit of the dual-coil technology is that it is possible to function with any of the wireless charging standards in the market today for receiving power, as well as deliver power to any device configured to receive power using any of the standards today.
Thus, Power Forward’s patented dual-coil technology enables the first Universal Portable Wireless Power Source (UPWPS). This device will:
- Receive wireless power from any charging pad or source (independent of the standard required – WPC Qi, Airfuel Resonant-RF, etc.)
- Simultaneously transmit power wirelessly to charge any device capable of wireless charging (independent of the standard required- WPC Qi, Airfuel Resonant-RF, etc.)
- Portable: due to an integrated battery, will wirelessly charge any device even when away from a charging pad or power source.
- Stackable: These devices can be stacked and charge each other.
UPWPS; think of an auxiliary battery pack that can charge wirelessly and simultaneously can charge a smart device or another UPWPS.
